Arrupe College Students

Adult and Nontraditional Students

Visiting and Non-Degree Students

If you are a visiting student, you can take classes at ºÚÁÏÃÅthat count toward degree requirements at another college or university. You can take classes at ºÚÁÏÃÅwithout the intention of pursuing a degree. You may be a visiting student at ºÚÁÏÃÅfor the fall, spring, summer or January term. Visiting and non-degree-seeking students must submit a new application for every semester they plan to enroll.

Rome Start Students

Rome Start gives select students the opportunity to spend the first year of their ºÚÁÏÃÅexperience studying at our campus in Rome, Italy. After the first year in Rome, students complete their degree at our main campus in Chicago. Find out more about the Rome Start program and how to apply.

Previously Accepted Students

If you were previously granted admission but did not enroll, you will need to submit a new first-year or transfer application. You should submit a final high school transcript or any new/updated college transcripts that were not submitted with your earlier application.

Readmit Students

Readmission refers to students who were previously enrolled at ºÚÁÏÃÅas degree-seeking students and have earned credit in the past. If you are seeking readmission, you must complete a .

Readmission Priority Deadlines

  • July 1 for the fall semester (August start)
  • November 1 for the spring semester (January start)

If you have taken courses at another institution, you are required to submit transcripts from each school attended. ºÚÁÏÃÅreadmission applications are not considered complete until all official documents are received. If you stepped out of ºÚÁÏÃÅfor one semester only and have not taken courses elsewhere, you may contact your academic advisor directly. If you left for a semester and have taken one or more classes at another institution, or have been out more than one semester, you must submit the readmit application form. For additional information, please review the on readmission and permission to take coursework at another institution.

Readmit Scholarship Process

Readmit applicants who had received merit scholarships as part of their original acceptance to the university would be reviewed for merit scholarship at time of readmission.

If a student left in good academic standing and did not take courses elsewhere, their merit scholarship, Jesuit/Catholic Heritage and/or Director’s awards will be reinstated at the original amount at the time of first admission.

If a student left in good academic standing and took courses at another institution, the student will be reviewed using the parameters for transfer scholarships for their new intended term, based on their new academic course information.

Students would not be eligible for merit scholarship if they are returning for a second bachelor’s degree.
