HOST Program Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you guarantee that a HOST will be available for me?
-
Alumni Relations will work to find a HOST in the area you requested. The earlier you submit your request, the more likely you are to be matched with a HOST. You will be notified if a HOST is not available.
- Is my spouse able to stay with me?
-
Many hosts welcome spouses. Please note on the registration form that you will be traveling with your spouse.
- Can I stay with a host for more than one day?
-
Absolutely! Please let Alumni Relations know on the Student Registration Form how long you will need to stay with a host and any other special accommodations you may need. You may want to stay with a host for longer than a day to complete several interviews in a region or stay for a longer period of time to get better travel rates. We will work with our alumni volunteers to best suit your travel needs.
