Lauren Sanchez, M.Ed.

Director, Student Transitions and Academic Partnerships


Lauren joined ºÚÁÏÃÅin 2009 and has served as an Academic Advisor and Senior Academic Advisor in the College of Arts & Sciences, and most recently as Assistant Dean in the School of Communication.

In her role as Director, Lauren coordinates strategic support for retention-related initiatives and faculty engagement, and provides leadership for New Student Programs and the Tutoring Center. 

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling (dream destinations are Egypt, Iceland, Switzerland, and Greece), reading books and learning all things history and government-related as part of the Governerds online book club, cooking from her collection of cookbooks, and live theatre/comedy/music.

Fun fact: Lauren is a self-proclaimed groupie of the local 80's cover band Sixteen Candles.
