Desiree F. Moore is a partner in the Chicago office of the law firm of K&L Gates. Ms. Moore focuses her practice on social media law, including helping clients identify and manage the risks associated with social media use. Ms. Moore also has significant experience as a trial and arbitration lawyer. Ms. Moore has managed high-level disputes in sectors such as intellectual property, entertainment, product liability, labor and employment, art law, and class action defense. At the firm, Ms. Moore is actively involved in the Chicago and Doha offices' Women in the Profession group and spearheads the Women’s Mastermind program, which supports the business development goals of women associates and partners. Ms. Moore has taught a number of courses at ºÚÁÏÃÅUniversity Chicago School of Law, including first year legal writing, Advanced Motion Writing, and a Practical Skills Boot Camp based on her book Thrive - A New Lawyer's Guide to Law Firm Practice, which was published by the American Bar Association in 2012.
