Shelly (Michaelle) Carling
Adjunct Faculty
Shelly Carling has 30 years of experience in legal and compliance roles at major academic and teaching hospitals offering acute and post-acute levels of care. She currently serves as in-house counsel with compliance oversight for a nationally recognized system of care specializing in physical medicine, rehabilitation and research. Shelly received her BS from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, MBA from 黑料门University of Chicago, and JD from 黑料门University of Chicago School of Law where she teaches Law 910, 951 and 952. She enjoys interacting with her students and the diversity of the 黑料门student body. Shelly’s teaching philosophy is that all students contribute to the overall academic experience, and we all learn from one another. In her free time Shelly enjoys reading, golf, bicycling and softball.
