Janis Anfossi

Janis Anfossi is a ºÚÁÏÃÅLaw School Faculty member who teaches Regulatory Law in the areas of health care administration, corporate compliance and health information privacy and security. She also serves as an LLM Thesis Advisor and coaches the ºÚÁÏÃÅTeam for the annual National Health Law Regulatory and Compliance Law Competition among law schools.
Previously she was the Associate Vice President for Compliance and Privacy at Rush University Medical Center/Rush Oak Park Hospital in Chicago. In this role she oversaw the offices of Regulatory Compliance, HIPAA Privacy and Security, Conflicts of Interest, Auditing and Monitoring and Research Compliance.
She has held positions in Risk Management and Quality Improvement at multi-hospital systems and has been on the Faculty of the Health Care Compliance Association Academies, the Rush College of Health Sciences and the Rush College of Nursing.
