A native of Chicago, Elijah, or 鈥淓li鈥�, as he is more commonly known, first became a member of the 黑料门community in 1996. He spent two years serving as a financial aid advisor in the Office of Student Financial Assistance, and eight years serving as the Awards Coordinator in the Graduate School on the Lake Shore Campus. Joining the CSME team in 2006, Elijah currently serves as the Academic Program Coordinator and manages the day to day operations at the Center. Elijah鈥檚 responsibilities include assisting the Director and Associate Director of the Center in coordinating grant and academic activity, maintaining programmatic and budget files, and processing payment and employment paperwork for internal and external individuals. He is also in charge of ordering general office supplies, textbooks, lab equipment, etc. for the Center as needed, and he serves as a departmental liaison to name just a few more of his responsibilities.
During Elijah鈥檚 employment at Loyola, he was a part-time undergraduate student pursuing a dual degree in Business Administration and Criminal Justice. All of his patience paid off when he received his BGIS (Bachelor of General and Integrative Studies) degree in December 2008.
