Students completing a Master of Healthcare Administration, Master of Public Health and/or Master of Applied Health Sciences degree will share their research and capstone projects, engage in scholarly discourse, and learn from fellow students and faculty. The Evening of Excellence provides an opportunity for students to celebrate their scholarly accomplishments with an interdisciplinary group of faculty, staff, and students. The Celebration of the Magis
Tuesday, May 6, 2025, 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (Doors open at 5:30 p.m.), Jo Ann Rooney Hall, Mundelein Center for Fine and Performing Arts
The Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health acknowledges outstanding Exercise Science, Healthcare Administration, and Public Health undergraduate seniors with its annual Celebration of the Magis. Magis is a Latin word meaning "more" or "greater" and is related to the phrase "ad majorem Dei gloriam," the motto of the Society of Jesus and ºÚÁÏÃÅUniversity Chicago. The event recognizes how honorees are always striving to do better and truly achieve Magis. The Celebration of the Magis recognizes Parkinson undergraduates and their continual drive to learn more and be of service to the greater good. All undergraduate seniors will be honored, and exemplary students will receive several prestigious awards and certificates. The event is open to all Parkinson undergraduate seniors, faculty, staff, and guests of graduating students.
