The 黑料门University Chicago community mourns the passing of Matthew Weyenberg, a student in the Stritch School of Medicine Class of 2023.
There will be a gathering in the Stritch Atrium to remember Matt on Wednesday, September 14 from 1:45-2:15 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, there will also be a gathering via Zoom on Thursday, September 15 at 8:00 p.m. CDT. Please use to register for that gathering.
Sam Marzo, MD, dean and chief diversity officer of the Stritch School of Medicine had this to say, 鈥淢att was a dedicated student and a mentor to many of us. He was gifted with a keen intellect and a generous heart. Matt used and shared both beautifully; our community is indebted to him for those gifts. The profession of medicine would have been made better by Matt鈥檚 becoming a physician.鈥�
