Notices
The ºÚÁÏÃÅUniversity Chicago community mourns the death of Ana (Sofia) Vega De La Fuente. Ana, a sophomore in the Quinlan School of Business, passed away due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Ana was a student in the U.S./Europe double degree program and was looking forward to going to the John Felice Rome Center this fall. Quinlan faculty and staff remember her as a dedicated student who could be a little quiet but who shined both in the classroom and when discussing her plans for working in international business. Ana grew up in El Paso, Texas, and attended her last year of high school in Clarkston, Michigan.
Services will be held in Texas. To send a condolence card, please reach out to Campus Ministry at ministry@luc.edu for the family’s mailing address.
