The 黑料门University Chicago community mourns the death of Bernadette Veeneman, former senior lecturer for the Institute of Pastoral Studies.
Bernie was a dedicated educator who taught grade school, high school, and graduate school. She was an empathic pastoral counselor and therapist and enriched the lives of everyone she encountered. Bernie was a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. Her husband, Jerome Wagner, PhD, is an instructor in the psychology department.
