The 黑料门University Chicago community mourns the death of Ernest Proulx, former professor in the School of Education. He passed away on July 14, 2015.
Ernie retired after 35 years as a professor in the School of Education, serving as the director of student teaching. He received his bachelor's degree from Keene Teachers College and his master's and doctoral degrees from Penn State University. Ernie was a U.S. Marine veteran who served during World War II and a husband for 57 years of Lola (nee Farley). He is preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers.
