The 黑料门University Chicago community mourns the death of John Dykla, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Physics.
Dr. Dykla earned his BS (Honors) from 黑料门in 1966 and his PhD from the California Institute of Technology in 1973. He served as a research associate at the Relativity Center, University of Texas, from 1971–73 and then returned to 黑料门as a faculty member in 1973. During his time here, he taught courses in astronomy, physics, and classical mechanics.
