Join us for the kickoff of Impact through Alliance: Chicago Neighborhood Business Series—an immersive, community-centered experience designed to spotlight the strength and stories of Chicago’s diverse business communities. This four-part series will visit three neighborhoods—Englewood, Rogers Park, and Little Village—and culminate in a final event at Loyola’s Schreiber Center. Our first stop: Englewood.
Led by award-winning Chicago historian and storyteller Dilla, this guided bus tour will explore Englewood’s rich cultural heritage and highlight local businesses that are creating change and fostering community. Connect with local businesses and community leaders, deepen your understanding of neighborhood-based economic development, and learn how collaboration and allyship can strengthen Chicago’s future

10:00 AM – Departure from the Schreiber Center
Board the bus outside the Schreiber Center at ºÚÁÏÃÅUniversity Chicago () for the start of the Englewood experience.
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Guided Neighborhood Tour of Englewood
Ride through Englewood on a curated bus tour led by Dilla. Discover the neighborhood’s deep roots, local businesses, and community-led initiatives that reflect resilience and innovation.
12:00 – 1:30 PM – Panel Discussion at Kennedy-King College
Location: Black Box Theatre, Kennedy-King College,
Hear from local entrepreneurs and community leaders working to build inclusive economic growth in Englewood.
